MMB was commissioned to design and build an addition to, and remodel the existing spaces in, an existing waterfront cabin originally designed in the 1970s to resemble a fire watch tower. The existing cabin was well-loved and well-used and in need of updates and more space for a growing family. The owner's request was no small task because the only buildable footprint for the addition was located on a rock outcropping inaccessible to heavy equipment. We did our best to honor the original architecture with our addition and are excited to have contributed to this family's enjoyment of such a special place.
